Information Systems Manager
Student Agencies Incorporated
The IS Manager reports to the President and works with the CEO and is responsible for developing and maintaining the information and technology systems of Student Agencies. This includes, but is not limited to the development and implementation of strategies to keep Student Agencies on an effective and efficient technology platform based on internet, e-commerce, and intranet-based solutions. In addition, the IS Manager acts as an IT technician for Student Agencies and its different business entities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Network
- Evaluate and improve current disaster prevention/data protection systems
- Evaluate and improve current disaster recovery procedures
Consulting
- Evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of current practices and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist in the analysis of technology purchase decisions
Management Responsibilities
- Develop a clear and well-planned budget
- Create projects and a roll-out schedule which will both contribute to the technological health of SAI and keep SAI technology on the “cutting edge”

General SAI Responsibilities
- Willing to aid in the day-to-day and long-term operations of all SAI businesses
- Contribute to the overall benefit of SAI by meeting office hour requirements, attending all meetings, and by actively promoting the general well-being of SAI
Additional IT Responsibilities:
Network
- Administer an Active Directory domain
- Troubleshoot general network issues
Website/Internet
- Maintain and update existing Student Agencies websites
- Create new sites and/or pages which mesh with existing designs
- Troubleshoot e-mail related issues
Consulting
- Troubleshoot and assist managers with hardware and software matters
Skills Required
- Knowledge of Windows Server System and Active Directory
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, NetBIOS/NetBEUI, and other relevant network technologies
- Knowledge of Macromedia Flash
- Proficiency in HTML and use of CSS
- Proficiency in PHP for future projects (ASP could be useful for intranet projects)
- Thorough understanding of basic PC hardware and software concepts
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Access proficiency
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (inDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.)
- Familiar with the newest developments in computer technologies
