Entrepreneur in Residence

I am very pleased to be the first-ever Entrepreneur-In-Residence for the Student Agencies eLab! While I will wear many hats in this new role, the most important will be that of a coach/facilitator. I will seek to coach student entrepreneurs and to facilitate their ability to connect to Cornell’s vast entrepreneurial resources.

One of the great aspects of the eLab will be utilizing the rich tradition and heritage of very successful entrepreneurs who have graduated from Cornell to help mentor and coach members of the eLab. We will need the support and time of these successful entrepreneurs to help mentor these students and help them move their concepts from ideation to the marketplace. Along the way, their paths can be smoothed significantly by receiving industry specific advice and coaching from Cornellians who have successfully navigated this process.

Another key goal is for the eLab to become a conduit for students to take their concepts to the next level. As part of this process, the eLab has already begun to seek relationships with angel investors, venture capital firms, accounting/legal professionals, and professional incubators. The eLab will provide Cornell undergraduate entrepreneurs with unique access to a web of relationships, connections, and networking opportunities that will nourish students hungry to begin living the entrepreneurial dream.
