Joining Student Agencies is a four-step process designed to get to know you and your potential to contribute to our team:
Apply Online – Submit your application for the position listed below. We require a resume and a few basic details to get started.
First-Round Interview – Meet with a member of our management team for a behavioral interview. We’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and what you’ll bring to Student Agencies.
Second-Round Case Study – Tackle a business-related case study to showcase your problem-solving and decision-making. No prior business experience or special preparation is required—we’re simply interested in how you think and explain your choices.

Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
The Chief Technology Officer establishes and executes Student Agencies' technology strategy across its multi-business portfolio. The CTO is responsible for ensuring that the systems supporting customer operations, payments, property management, e-commerce, communications, analytics, and internal collaboration remain secure, reliable, cost-effective, and scalable. Building on recent work that strengthened account security and MFA, modernized major websites and e-commerce workflows, consolidated software and vendors to save more than $20,000 annually, and advanced cross-platform operations, the next CTO will be expected to combine executive judgment with hands-on implementation.The CTO reports directly to the President and serves on SAI's Executive Team. The CTO attends weekly executive and general team meetings, advises managers across SAI's businesses, and translates operational needs into practical technology priorities. This is both a strategic leadership position and an active systems role.
Hourly Requirement: The CTO is required to work part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the academic year and full-time during the summer (35-40 hours per week). An in-person summer commitment is not required for the CTO, but it is preferred.
Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for understanding the financial health of Student Agencies Inc. They will regularly meet with each business and the executive team to analyze how SAI’s businesses are performing and convey this information regularly to the Board of Directors. They will work closely with the CFO, CEO, and President to make sure each business is financially stable and on track to meet the yearly budget.Hourly Requirement: This position requires the manager to work part-time (10-20 hours per week) during the academic year and possibly full-time during the summer (35-40 hours per week).

General Manager (GM)
The two General Managers of Big Red Shipping & Storage (BRSS) head all operations required to maintain and expand BRSS. They proactively plan for business peak periods, manage all BRSS employees, and oversee day to day appointments as well as long-term projects. A General Manager is expected to effectively lead and delegate responsibility to their Assistant Manager. The General Managers are expected to administer quality customer service, organize a large team of employees, and continually prepare for delivery and shipping requests.The BRSS managers meet weekly with the Student Agencies President and CEO to provide updates on any financial issues, organizational challenges, and project progress. Additional responsibilities include presenting quarterly to the Student Agencies Board of Directors, retaining all important business information, and aiding with the recruitment and training of the successive BRSS General Managers.
Hourly Requirement: This position requires the General Manager to work part-time (10-20 hours per week minimum) during the academic year and full-time during the summer (35-40 hours per week). The busiest periods for BRSS are in May, July and August, during which hours increase depending on demand.
Assistant Manager (AM)
The Assistant Managers of Big Red Shipping & Storage (BRSS) support the General Managers in executing all operations required to maintain and expand BRSS. Assistant Managers are expected to be versatile, stepping into whatever responsibilities are most pressing for the business. They act as the operational backbone of BRSS by assisting the General Managers with customer service, field team oversight, warehouse operations, office organization, and financial tasks.
The role is designed to adapt to the needs of the General Managers. Assistant Managers contribute to both the day-to-day functions of BRSS and its long-term growth by taking on delegated projects, ensuring continuity of operations, and providing additional leadership during peak seasons.
Hourly Requirement: This position requires a part-time commitment of 10–15 hours per week during the academic year, with hours ramping up significantly during peak seasons in May and August, when BRSS is at its busiest. Flexibility and availability during these peak periods are essential.

General Managers (GM)
The General Managers of the Hired Hands Moving Company (HHMC) are responsible for overseeing the delivery of cost effective, high quality moving and packing services to students, businesses, and residents. A General Manager is expected to effectively lead and delegate responsibility to a team of movers, as well as a Director of Operations. The General Managers aim to effectively plan, organize, and execute a successful summer business peak.The HHMC General Managers also meet weekly with the Student Agencies President and CEO to update them on any financial issues, organizational challenges, and project updates. The General Managers must also craft a strategic business plan and budget, present quarterly to the Board of Directors, and retain important data in order to train incoming managers.
Hourly Requirement: This position requires the manager to work part-time (10-20 hours per week) during the academic year and full-time during the summer (35-40 hours per week). During peak weeks, hours may increase due to demand.
Assistant Managers (AM)
The Assistant Manager of Hired Hands Moving Company (HHMC) supports the General Managers in executing all operations required to deliver cost-effective, high-quality moving and packing services to students, businesses, and residents. Assistant Managers serve as the hands-on operational backbone of HHMC, stepping into dynamic responsibilities as needed. They assist the General Managers with direct crew leadership, truck logistics, customer service, equipment maintenance, and field operations.
The role is designed to adapt to the needs of the General Managers. Assistant Managers contribute to both day-to-day moves and the execution of a successful summer peak by taking on delegated projects, supervising field teams, ensuring safety protocol, and providing reliable support on and off move sites.
Hourly Requirement: This position requires a part-time commitment of 10–15 hours per week during the academic year, with hours increasing significantly during the summer peak (up to 35–40 hours per week). Flexibility and availability during high-demand periods are essential.

Student Agencies Inc. Real Estate acts as a property management company on behalf of Student Agencies Properties. The SAI Real Estate General Manager manages all aspects of Student Agencies Properties’ real estate holdings, which include both commercial and residential properties. The RE General Manager will oversee an Assistant Manager by delegating daily tasks and long-term projects. The RE General Manager focuses on the administration, marketing, maintenance, rental, and management of SAP’s 4 commercial tenants and 64 residential apartments. The RE GM is also expected to meet weekly with the SAI President and CEO to discuss financial issues, organizational plans, and strategic initiatives. Assistant Manager (AM)
Student Agencies Inc. Real Estate acts as a property management company on behalf of Student Agencies Properties. General Managers (GM)
The SAT General Manager has complete operational control of a tutoring business, with the intention of effectively managing current clients and expanding the SAT brand across campus. At their discretion, the General Manager can identify and market to new target markets. The General Manager has sole responsibility for managing client accounts and coordinating their student tutoring labor supply to fulfill satisfactory tutoring requests. The General Manager is also responsible for proposing creative development plans and effectively leveraging the network and resources of Student Agencies Inc. to execute those plans. Business development may include marketing efforts (print or digital), expanding service offerings, partnering with other organizations, and more. Along with managing SAT, the General Manager is expected to meet weekly with the Student Agencies President and CEO to update them on financial issues, organizational challenges, and project progress. The General Manager also works with the CFO and President to craft a financial budget and strategic business plan that guide them during their term and aid in recruiting and training new managers at the end of their term.Hourly Requirement: This position requires the manager to work part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the academic year.
