Joining Student Agencies is a four-step process designed to get to know you and your potential to contribute to our team:
Apply Online – Submit your application for the position listed below. We require a resume and a few basic details to get started.
First-Round Interview – Meet with a member of our management team for a behavioral interview. We’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and what you’ll bring to Student Agencies.
Second-Round Case Study – Tackle a business-related case study to showcase your problem-solving and decision-making. No prior business experience or special preparation is required—we’re simply interested in how you think and explain your choices.

Chief Growth Officer (CGO)
The CGO is responsible for spearheading growth across all areas of Student Agencies Inc. Their role is focused on revenue generation, business expansion, strategic innovation, and long-term customer value. This role combines high-level strategic thinking with cross-functional leadership, guiding both internal initiatives and external market-facing efforts. This is a strategy-first role—perfect for a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial leader who’s ready to accelerate Student Agencies’ trajectory over the next 5–10 years.
Chief Media & Marketing Officer (CCMO)
The CCMO is responsible for owning the full creative and brand direction of Student Agencies, Inc. They are the architect of SAI’s identity—visually, narratively, and experientially—and bring a unified, student-driven vision to life across all businesses, platforms, and campaigns. From long-form video shoots to IG carousels, from brand voice to poster design, this role does it all.
Chief Strategy & Ventures Officer (CSVO)
The CSVO is responsible for leading the long-term strategic innovation and venture creation efforts at Student Agencies Inc. (SAI). This role bridges the organization’s entrepreneurial spirit with disciplined planning and execution, focusing on launching new businesses, exploring acquisition opportunities, and creating pathways for external partnerships and alumni involvement.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
The CTO is responsible for establishing and executing a technical vision that aligns with Student Agencies’ business strategy and organizational goals, leveraging our integrated digital ecosystem to inform planning and decision-making. Following several successful digital transformations (including a major migration of a CRM, Shopify e-commerce transition, significant tech stack cost reductions, and cybersecurity risk audits), Student Agencies is looking for a candidate with demonstrated experience driving cross-platform optimization and building data-driven decision-making infrastructure from the ground up.
Director of Human Resources (HR)
The Director of Human Resources will be involved in all human capital decisions, processes, and programs. They will have full responsibility in areas including but not limited to talent acquisition, personnel orientation and training, team organization and scheduling, team building events and educational programs, and strategic human capital research projects.
Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for understanding the financial health of Student Agencies Inc. They will regularly meet with each business and the Executive Team to analyze how SAI’s businesses are performing and convey this information regularly to the Board of Directors. They will work closely with the Controller, CEO, and President to make sure each business is financially stable and on track to meet its yearly budget. The Financial Analyst will be promoted to Chief Financial Officer after a successful training period. -
General Manager (GM)
The GM of Big Red Shipping & Storage (BRSS) heads all operations required to maintain and expand BRSS. They proactively plan for business peak periods, manage all BRSS employees, and oversee day to day appointments as well as long-term projects. A General Manager is expected to effectively lead and delegate responsibility to a team of Assistant Managers. The General Manager is expected to administer quality customer service, organize a large team of employees, and continually prepare for delivery and shipping requests. -
General Managers (GMs)
The GMs of the Hired Hands Moving Company (HHMC) are responsible for overseeing the delivery of cost effective, high quality moving and packing services to students, businesses, and residents. A General Manager is expected to effectively lead and delegate responsibility to a team of movers, as well as a Director of Operations. The General Managers aim to effectively plan, organize, and execute a successful summer business peak. -
General Manager (GM)
Student Agencies Inc. (SAI) Real Estate (RE) acts as a property management company on behalf of Student Agencies Properties (SAP).The SAI RE GM manages all aspects of SAP’s real estate holdings, which include both commercial and residential properties. The RE GM will oversee an Assistant Manager by delegating daily tasks and long-term projects. The GM also focuses on the administration, marketing, maintenance, rental, and management of SAP’s 4 commercial tenants and 64 residential apartments. The RE GM is also expected to meet weekly with the SAI President and CEO to discuss financial issues, organizational plans, and strategic initiatives.
The RE GM is responsible for presenting operational updates at quarterly Board of Directors meetings, working with other SAI businesses and the SAP Board of Directors when managing properties, and working alongside the SAI CFO and President to determine a budget and strategic business plan to guide the rest of the manager’s term.

General Managers (GMs)
The two Student Agencies Tutoring (SAT) GMs have complete operational control of a tutoring business, with the intention of effectively managing current clients and expanding the SAT brand across campus. At their discretion, the GMs can identify and market to new target markets. The GMs have sole responsibility for managing client accounts and coordinating their student tutoring labor supply to fulfill satisfactory tutoring requests.
The GMs are also responsible for proposing creative development plans and effectively leveraging the network and resources of Student Agencies Inc. to execute those plans. Business development may include marketing efforts (print or digital), expanding service offerings, partnering with other organizations, and more. Along with managing SAT, the GMs are expected to meet weekly with the Student Agencies President and CEO to update them on financial issues, organizational challenges, and project progress.
The GMs also work with the CFO and President to craft a financial budget and strategic business plan that guide them during their term and aid in recruiting and training new managers at the end of their term. -
General Managers (GMs)
The two Campus Promotions (CP) GMs develop and execute strategies that enable CP to become the preferred source of promotional services for local and national companies that market to Cornell students and the Ithaca community.
To do so, the GMs are responsible for setting and carrying out the business' strategic objectives for its several branches. Management of these branches include: the sales, production, and distribution of the Ithaca Map and Gorge paper publications, organizing and executing successful postering runs, digital media management, and strategizing with various consulting clients to develop and perform marketing initiatives. -
General Managers (GMs)
The GMs of Cornell Bigger Beds (BB) is responsible for overseeing the launch, growth, and daily operations of SAI’s newest initiative: a bed rental service for Cornell students. They are expected to handle logistical planning, supplier coordination, customer communication, and marketing efforts to ensure the success and scalability of the business. BB GMs should be entrepreneurial, proactive, and organized, capable of working independently and collaboratively to meet operational and strategic goals.

Though our alumni are leaders in a variety of different fields, one thing they all agree upon is that SAI was the most valuable part of their experience as Cornellians.
