Student Agencies, Inc. is made up of seven companies, six of which are completely student run. With everything from moving, to advertising, to real estate, we offer our student managers diverse range of practical experience, and provide a great variety of valuable services to the Ithaca and Greater Tompkins Community.
big red shipping and storage
BRSS provides the Cornell community with quality shipping and storage services to and from the Ithaca area. We are Cornell’s Preferred Vendor, making BRSS the exclusive provider of campus storage and shipping. We own and operate a climate controlled storage facility for student’s personal belongings, and are an authorized shipping center for Federal Express, offering competitive rates for Ground, Express and International Shipping.

CP works with local and national businesses to develop and execute marketing initiatives that target the Cornell University and Ithaca College student markets. We support clients in understanding their business needs and developing marketing programs that provide comprehensive solutions to those needs, including two print publications to support the Ithaca community - The Ithaca Gorge and The Ithaca Map.

cornellian yearbook
The Cornellian by Student Agencies is Cornell University’s official yearbook. For over 100 years, the Cornellian has been produced by Cornell undergraduates. The yearbook consists of senior class portraits, articles and photographs covering a range of editorial topics, and advertisements sponsored by parents of the graduating class, University organizations, and local businesses.

HHMC is a growing local moving company that delivers affordable moving and labor services to the Ithaca and Tompkins county area through our professional, well educated, motivated and personable staff. We are authorized to move customers to any location throughout the Northeast, offering our services year-round. Like BRSS, HHMC also maintains a formal relationship with Cornell University, as it is a preferred vendor for inter-departmental moves.

Student Agencies Real Estate handles the operation and management of Student Agencies’ Properties. With the completion of The Student Agencies Building at 409 College Avenue, SAI now owns and operates 64 residential apartments, 3 commercial spaces, and eHub, an entrepreneurial incubator space. Our building offers a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments at the corner of College and Oak Ave. The building also houses commercial tenants Ithaca Beer & 7/11. SAI Properties also manages an 8,000 sq. ft. warehouse used primarily by Big Red Shipping & Storage. SAT provides students across the world with private academic tutoring in K-12 classwork, SAT/ACT and other test preparation, and college coursework. We manage a team of tutors consisting of undergraduate and graduate Cornell students from across a wide range of majors, making sure they are dedicated to giving back by equipping high school students with the effective strategies and behavioral skills to reach their full potential.
